DIY Elegant Marker Board

This might just be the easiest do-it-yourself project I’ve ever made. In just a few simple steps, you’ll have yourself an elegant marker board to decorate your living or work space.

Instructions:

  1. Make sure your picture frame has an insert. Usually the inserts are made of particle board or cardboard. Pull apart your picture frame so that you have the particle board, glass insert, and frame separated.
  2. Use the particle board as a guide and cut the fabric about an inch and a half larger than the board. I’ve used the fabric called
Georgia from the Summerhouse collection from Moda.
  3. Wrap the fabric around the particle board insert and adhere the fabric using tape.
  4. Insert the fabric covered board into the picture frame and voila! You have yourself a stylish and functional piece for your office or living space.

Enjoy!
